American National CattleWomen members are strong, enthusiastic women who stand up for what they believe in. They are equally at home on the ranch, in a meeting, at a social function or a legislative venue. Our members strongly support the cattle industry and America’s Agricultural heritage through education and promotion.

The purpose of an ANCW Women’s Ranching Symposium is to provide educational workshops and symposium that allow women to stay informed about new issues in agriculture, improve confidence in themselves, and gain the tools and information needed to make management decisions while networking with their friends, neighbors and new acquaintances.

Topics may include (but not limited to):

Basic Livestock Management
New Technologies
Grazing Practices
Animal Care
Farm Safety
Effective Stockmanship
Financial/Estate Planning

Holding an ANCW Women’s Ranching Symposium in your area requires careful preparation, but the time invested in a well planned and executed event will reap many benefits for ANCW as well as your local and state organizations.
