Welcome to June, everyone!
Summertime is almost here! The unofficial start to summertime began when we celebrated Memorial Day this past weekend. I don’t know about you, but I saw that a lot of people broke out the grills for their holiday and long weekend. It sure made for some yummy social media feeds!
A little birdie (okay, it was Region I Director Jennie Hodgen) reminded me that Region I is still taking registrations for their upcoming Summer Gathering! Region I cattlewomen are encouraged to join their fellow cattlewomen in Lancaster, Ohio for a day of fun, fellowship and awesome activities. Activities are to include: an ANCW update from President-elect Gwen Geis, making your own hand-blown glass ornament, a winery tour and greenhouse tour and planting your own succulent garden. These sound like great opportunities to get to know the other cattlewomen in your region! If you’re interested in more information or you’re ready to register, visit our Events Page for more details.
Oh hey, about those social media feeds–have you seen us on Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat and Twitter? We’re all about spreading the good news about beef, education, promotion, legislation, sharing our stories about beef from the pasture to the plate, the lives of cattlewomen (and men) and how beef is part of a healthy diet.
