Nominating Committee

We encourage you to run for office or identify eligible members to nominate. Only through our volunteer efforts, will we be able to continue building a strong, active, and successful national association.

The nominating committee is to identify and recruit qualified ANCW members to hold leadership positions. This committee shall consist of the seven (7) Region Directors, two (2) members elected from the membership at large (terms to be 2 years), and the two (2) most Immediate ANCW Past Presidents.

The nominating committee shall recommend nominees according to the following principles:

1. Carefully determine who is qualified to serve according to ANCW Bylaws with a preference toward those actively engaged in the cattle industry.

2. Be objective in their deliberations.

3. Compare experience, ability, and expertise.

4. Evaluate the relative merits of all nominees in a fair and equitable manner.

5. Nominate leaders whose guidance will benefit our organization.
